Developer reports AI coding agent deleted a month of SaaS and client work
A forum post describes an agent clearing disk space by removing a project folder. No recent backup existed.
A user posted on Google's AI developer forum that the Antigravity coding agent deleted a folder on their Windows laptop while trying to free space on a completely full drive. They say they lost about a month of work, including code for their own SaaS product and work for client companies, and that recovery attempts failed because there was no up-to-date backup.
The user asked the Antigravity team to investigate, check session logs, add safeguards against destructive deletions, and consider compensation. This is one user's account, and the cause has not been independently confirmed.
